The Same Questions - Now the Answers
I am very often speaking with young, and not so young, people who are curious about commercial real estate (CRE) and wondering if it might be a good career, or second career, for them. Most had heard first-hand or second-hand stories of big transactions and how someone made a year’s income or more in a single deal.
In these discussions I typically hear some of the same questions over and over again:
· How much money could I make in my first year, second year, etc.?
· Where can I learn what I need to know? Are there classes available?
· Do I need to be a math whiz?
· How can I find a mentor?
· What kind of forms or documents will I need and where do I find them?
After giving my typical answers followed by more discussion it becomes clear that some are excited and other discouraged. It’s a terrific industry with lots of positives (which is why I’ve been in it for over 40 years). However, there are negative aspects as well which is why CRE is not for everyone.
All of which I decided to hold a 3-hour, free online webinar to lay out the pros and cons and answer all of the questions listed above and more. The name of the webinar is:
“Launching Your Career in Commercial Real Estate” and will be held September 27th from 9:00 a.m. to noon Central time.
If you or anyone you know is considering CRE as a career choice or perhaps is a residential real estate agent thinking about transitioning to CRE, then this free webinar is a must.
